Qualifications & Experience:
- Demonstrated skill in operating CT equipment and performing general CAT scans (chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, fluoroscopy, and pediatric exams)
- Familiarity with post-processing and performing CT angiograms (CTAs)
- Prior experience working with trauma patients, delivering timely and efficient imaging
- Knowledge of radiation safety procedures to protect patients, self, and support staff
- Ability to maintain high quality and accuracy in scan production
- Leadership skills in coordinating radiologic care across different clinical settings
- Comfort handling medications as part of the imaging process, including access to secured drug storage, if needed
- Current, valid certification/licensure as required by state and facility regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of CT scans efficiently, including urgent and trauma cases
- Complete post-processing tasks promptly and accurately
- Minimize radiation exposure in accordance with best practices
- Ensure images meet high-quality standards for diagnostic use
- Demonstrate effective communication and leadership in coordinating radiology care with the wider healthcare team
- Safely manage processes involving medication distribution or administration as necessary in the imaging environment
