Travel CT/X-Ray Technologist
Assignment Details
- 13-week travel contract
- Up to $2,500/week
- 40 hours per week
- 4x10 schedule: Thursday–Sunday evenings
- Start Date: ASAP
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CT/X-Ray Technologist for a travel assignment at a Critical Access Hospital. This role is ideal for a technologist who is confident working independently while providing high-quality CT and diagnostic X-Ray services for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient populations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine, emergent, trauma, and contrast CT exams.
- Perform general diagnostic X-Ray exams, including portable, inpatient, outpatient, and Emergency Department imaging.
- Ensure proper patient positioning, image quality, radiation safety, and accurate documentation.
- Operate imaging equipment in accordance with facility protocols and safety standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and the imaging team.
- Support evening and weekend imaging coverage with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT(R) certification required.
- ARRT(CT) preferred.
- Current or eligible state Radiologic Technologist license.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent CT and diagnostic X-Ray experience.
- Previous experience in an Emergency Department, hospital, Critical Access Hospital, or rural setting preferred.
- Experience with contrast administration and CT safety protocols preferred.
