Travel CT/X-Ray Technologist

Assignment Details

  • 13-week travel contract
  • Up to $2,500/week
  • 40 hours per week
  • 4x10 schedule: Thursday–Sunday evenings
  • Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CT/X-Ray Technologist for a travel assignment at a Critical Access Hospital. This role is ideal for a technologist who is confident working independently while providing high-quality CT and diagnostic X-Ray services for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient populations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine, emergent, trauma, and contrast CT exams.
  • Perform general diagnostic X-Ray exams, including portable, inpatient, outpatient, and Emergency Department imaging.
  • Ensure proper patient positioning, image quality, radiation safety, and accurate documentation.
  • Operate imaging equipment in accordance with facility protocols and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and the imaging team.
  • Support evening and weekend imaging coverage with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current ARRT(R) certification required.
  • ARRT(CT) preferred.
  • Current or eligible state Radiologic Technologist license.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of recent CT and diagnostic X-Ray experience.
  • Previous experience in an Emergency Department, hospital, Critical Access Hospital, or rural setting preferred.
  • Experience with contrast administration and CT safety protocols preferred.

  • Flexible and dependable for evening and weekend coverage.
