CT Technologist - London, TX

A healthcare facility is seeking a CT/PET Technologist for an immediate contract assignment. Your expertise will help meet urgent departmental needs and support patient care in a dynamic setting. Candidates able to start on short notice will be prioritized.

Schedule:

• 5x8-hour shifts per week
• Day or night shifts available

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT certification required
• Experience with CT imaging is essential
• Familiarity with X-ray procedures preferred (not mandatory)
• Previous experience with PET scans is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and PET scans in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging studies to achieve optimal results
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records per regulatory standards
• Safely operate and monitor imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly
• Follow all infection control, safety, and radiation protection procedures
