Embrace the unique opportunity to work in the beautiful Florida Keys as a skilled CT/PET Technologist, supporting a small but vital critical access hospital for an 18-week period. This position promises rewarding clinical experiences within a collaborative Imaging Services department, where your expertise will contribute to patient care in a dynamic environment.
Schedule:
- 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, seven days on/followed by seven days off
- 18-week duration
- No required on-call shifts
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Current ARRT certification in CT and X-ray (XR)
- Active BLS certification
- Completion of formal education—college diploma or transcripts must be provided
- Previous experience as a CT or CT/PET technologist preferred
- Applicants must not reside in Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and PET imaging procedures supporting physicians in clinical decision-making
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow departmental protocols to ensure quality and patient safety
- Adapt quickly to a fast-paced, critical access hospital setting
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and fellow technologists to provide optimal patient outcomes
