CT Tech CT Technologist in Los Osos, CA

Embark on a rewarding 13-week assignment focused on CT imaging in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a key contributor to the radiology department, you’ll utilize advanced imaging equipment—specifically the Siemens 64 Somatom scanner—delivering high-standard diagnostic services and exceptional patient care.

Schedule:

• 4x10 hour shifts, evenings (Sunday–Wednesday)
• On-call responsibility required

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT certification
• California Radiologic Technologist license
• BLS certification
• IV and Fluoroscopy certifications
• Prior experience operating a Siemens 64 Somatom scanner
• Proficiency in both CT and X-ray imaging
• Ability to work evenings and participate in call rotation

Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality CT scans and X-ray studies in compliance with physician orders and safety protocols
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, providing care, support, and clear instructions
• Operate and maintain Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanner and associated radiographic equipment
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes
• Accurately document imaging activities and patient data within electronic records
• Respond efficiently to emergent and routine imaging requests during scheduled hours and on-call shifts
