CT Tech CT Technologist in Los Osos, CA

A highly skilled CT Technologist is needed for an engaging contract role within a dynamic healthcare environment. This 13-week assignment provides the opportunity to advance your imaging career while operating advanced Siemens 64 Somatom scanners and utilizing your x-ray competency.

Schedule:

• 4x10s evening shifts (Sunday through Wednesday)
• On-call duties required

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification
• Active California Radiologic Technologist license
• Current BLS certification
• Valid Fluoroscopy certification
• IV certification required
• Previous experience utilizing Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanners
• Demonstrated x-ray experience in a clinical setting
• Flexibility with on-call rotation

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT scans and radiographic procedures per physician orders
• Operate Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanner, ensuring optimal imaging protocols and patient safety
• Prepare and administer IV contrast agents as required
• Document and maintain accurate patient and procedure records
• Collaborate professionally with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and infection control standards
• Provide compassionate, respectful care and information to patients throughout the imaging process
• Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled
