A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced professional with strong expertise in CT imaging for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a Siemens 64 Somatom scanner and must possess additional x-ray experience to meet the demands of this dynamic environment. Schedule:
- 4 x 10-hour shifts, days: 7:00am – 5:30pm
- Call shifts: 5:30pm – 10:30pm, two nights per week following regular shifts
Qualifications:
- ARRT certification required
- Valid California Radiologic Technologist License
- Current BLS certification
- Fluoroscopy certification
- IV certification
- Experience with Siemens 64 Somatom or similar CT scanners
- Proven x-ray experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans and radiographic examinations according to protocol and physician instructions
- Operate and maintain Siemens 64 Somatom and related imaging equipment
- Administer contrast media as needed with proper IV skills
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of each procedure
- Respond to call shifts and provide after-hours imaging services as needed
- Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
