CT Tech CT Technologist - Los Osos, CA

A skilled imaging professional is needed for a contract opportunity specializing in CT technology. This 13-week assignment offers the chance to work with advanced equipment and a dynamic healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

Schedule:

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (Days: 7:00am – 5:30pm)
• On-call shifts: 5:30pm – 10:30pm, two nights per week immediately following regularly scheduled shifts

Required Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification
• ARRT certification
• Valid California Radiologic Technologist License
• Fluoroscopy certification
• IV certification
• Demonstrable experience with Siemens 64 Somatom scanner
• Proven x-ray experience

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging procedures with precision, ensuring high-quality results for physician review
• Operate Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanner and perform x-ray examinations as needed
• Uphold patient safety and comfort during all imaging procedures
• Administer IV contrast and assist with fluoroscopy studies, adhering to protocols
• Participate actively in call rotation and respond promptly to after-hours imaging needs
• Accurately document procedures and maintain equipment according to regulatory standards
