Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current ARRT (CT) certification required
  • Minimum of one year experience in CT imaging within a hospital or clinical setting
  • Proficiency operating advanced CT equipment and software
  • Thorough knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Current BLS certification

Schedule/Hours:

  • Shifts and specific hours will be discussed during the interview process to align with department needs

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT examinations according to physician orders and department protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for scans, explaining procedures to alleviate anxiety
  • Ensure all images meet diagnostic standards and are transferred accurately to the radiology information system
  • Monitor and maintain all CT equipment, reporting any malfunctions as needed
  • Practice appropriate radiation safety techniques to safeguard patients and staff
  • Accurately document patient information and maintain detailed records in accordance with facility policies
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other care team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
