Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist (ARRT-CT preferred)
• Valid state licensure as required
• Experience operating CT imaging equipment and performing diagnostic procedures
• Ability to follow physicians’ orders accurately
• Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Attention to detail and a commitment to patient comfort and care
• Previous experience as a CT Tech in a clinical or hospital setting preferred

Schedule/Hours:

• Schedules will be discussed during the interview process and may include some weekend or evening shifts, depending on departmental needs.

Responsibilities:

• Independently perform high-quality CT scans in accordance with clinical protocols
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed
• Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare providers to provide accurate imaging for diagnosis
• Document all procedures and maintain patient records with strict attention to confidentiality
• Monitor and maintain inventory of CT supplies
• Adhere to all safety standards, including proper usage of personal protective equipment and radiation practices
• Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients and families regarding the procedure
