Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT or equivalent required)
  • Valid state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Proven experience operating CT imaging equipment in a hospital or clinical environment
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety standards and best practices
  • Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
  • Ability to perform independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring proper patient positioning and technique
  • Accurately identify, document, and report scan results for diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, clearly explaining processes and addressing concerns
  • Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly
  • Uphold all infection control, safety, and privacy regulations while in the imaging suite
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
  • Document procedures and maintain thorough, up-to-date patient records
