A skilled Imaging – CT / CT-PET Technologist is needed for a 13-week contract beginning July 15th. This role requires expertise in advanced diagnostic imaging, performing both CT and PET procedures, and ensuring accurate, high-quality studies for patient care teams.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Rotating 3-on/2-off pattern (may vary)
  • Shifts alternate between:
    • 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM (10.5 hours)
    • 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM (10.5 hours)

Required Qualifications:

  • ARRT(R) certification required; CT credential preferred
  • Active BLS certification
  • Louisiana Radiology License in good standing
  • Experience in CT and PET imaging modalities
  • High attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and maintain professionalism under pressure

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT and PET imaging equipment to acquire diagnostic images as ordered by providers
  • Position patients for accurate and safe imaging while ensuring a high degree of patient comfort and care
  • Monitor patient conditions during procedures, responding quickly to any changes
  • Follow departmental protocols, safety standards, and quality assurance guidelines
  • Document patient histories, procedures, and report abnormalities promptly
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize the quality and timeliness of imaging results
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and room, and assist in general departmental duties as needed
