Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification in CT and PET/CT (ARRT or equivalent)
- State licensure as required
- Proven experience as a CT or PET/CT Technologist in a hospital or imaging center
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, patient positioning, and imaging protocols
- Ability to operate advanced imaging equipment and software
- Up-to-date on the latest radiation safety standards and precautions
- Solid organizational and communication skills
- Compassionate approach to patient care
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT scans according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Prepare and position patients while explaining procedures to reduce anxiety
- Ensure proper calibration and performance of imaging equipment
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to deliver accurate diagnostic results
- Maintain precise patient records and documentation
- Follow all safety guidelines to protect patients, colleagues, and oneself
- Respond promptly to emergencies and adapt procedures as needed
