An exciting opportunity is open for an experienced Imaging CT/PET Technologist at a small critical access hospital in the beautiful Florida Keys. This contract role spans 18 weeks and specifically does not allow applicants residing in Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties. The position operates within the Imaging Services department and offers a structured, alternating work schedule that allows for a balanced lifestyle.

Work Schedule:

  • 6:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
  • 7 days on, 7 days off

Key Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT certification in both CT and X-ray
  • Active BLS certification
  • All certifications, college diploma, or transcripts must be on file
  • Demonstrated experience working in CT and PET imaging
  • Ability to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care
  • Strong attention to safety protocols and confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT and PET scans according to established procedures and protocols
  • Work collaboratively with fellow technologists and clinical staff within Imaging Services
  • Maintain accurate imaging records, logs, and reports in compliance with hospital guidelines
  • Ensure safe operation of imaging equipment, troubleshooting when necessary
  • Provide patient education, reassurance, and support throughout the imaging process
  • Adhere to all hospital and regulatory safety standards
