Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT imaging equipment efficiently and safely, preparing patients for procedures and explaining the process clearly
- Ensure the highest standard of patient care and comfort during imaging procedures
- Review and interpret physician orders to determine protocol and scan requirements
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to capture precise diagnostic images
- Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and adhere to all compliance regulations
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and communicate maintenance needs promptly
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to infection control and all department policies
Desired Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or a related imaging discipline
- Current ARRT (CT) certification and state licensure (if required)
- Previous experience performing CT imaging in a hospital or clinical setting
- Proficiency in using CT scanners and related software
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate, patient-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment
