Travel CT Technologist - Marietta, GA

Schedule/Hours:

• Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 pm – 7:30 am (Night Shift)

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Active ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certifications
• BLS certification through AHA, ARC, or as an instructor (required upon hire)
• Minimum 1 year Imaging/Radiology experience; less than 1 year CT experience considered
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within fast-paced teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a full range of CT diagnostic studies following department protocol and safety standards
• Verify proper ordering, patient identification, clinical history, and preparation prior to imaging
• Operate CT equipment, employing lowest radiation dose techniques without compromising image quality
• Review, process, and release images; ensure accurate and timely documentation in PACS/RIS
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, report technical issues, and assist with inventory control
• Respond promptly to emergencies and assure patient comfort, dignity, and privacy
• Educate and communicate with patients and families about procedures and address concerns
• Support orientation and training for new techs and trainees as needed
• Occasional call may be required; other related duties as assigned
