Schedule/Hours
- Shift: Day (Saturday & Sunday, 8:30 am – 7:00 pm)
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform patient CT exams per departmental protocol while maintaining safe, age-appropriate care standards.
- Skillfully set up, operate, and troubleshoot imaging equipment ensuring quality diagnostic studies.
- Verify clinician orders, complete accurate patient identification, and obtain comprehensive histories.
- Ensure patient comfort and dignity throughout each interaction, providing clear explanations to facilitate cooperation and calm.
- Adhere to proper administration and documentation of contrast media, following sterile technique, and applying appropriate shielding to minimize radiation exposure.
- Respond efficiently in emergency scenarios, maintain equipment and restock supplies according to department standards.
- Support colleagues across radiology modalities and actively participate in continued education and quality control initiatives.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology, with CT experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong multitasking abilities, professional demeanor, and a commitment to compliance and safety protocols.
- Proven ability to flourish in a fast-paced, team-focused setting.
