CT Tech CT Technologist | Mathiston, Mississippi

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced healthcare imaging professional with expertise in CT and X-ray procedures. This contract position offers a unique schedule and the chance to work with advanced Canon and GE imaging equipment.

Schedule/Hours:

• 7 on, 7 off
• Night shift: 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT(R) certification is required
• ARRT(CT) certification highly preferred
• BLS certification
• Valid Mississippi state radiologic technologist license
• Prior experience working as a CT Tech and Radiologic Technologist/X-ray Tech
• Familiarity with Canon and GE imaging equipment
• Successful fingerprinting/background clearance prior to start

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and X-ray diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
• Carefully position patients and operate imaging equipment to obtain optimal results while ensuring patient safety
• Accurately document and label images, following hospital and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed, reporting any malfunctions promptly
• Uphold strict infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards at all times
• Provide compassionate communication and assistance to patients throughout their procedures

$2,709 - $2,856/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
