Enhance patient care and diagnostics by utilizing your expertise as a CT Technologist. This contract opportunity involves working with advanced imaging technology to perform high-quality CT scans, supporting diagnostic accuracy and excellence in patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT or equivalent)
  • Valid licensure for CT in the appropriate state
  • 1+ year of recent experience performing CT imaging procedures in a clinical setting
  • Proficiency in operating CT scanners and associated software
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures for imaging, including radiation protection
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare staff
  • BLS certification required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct scheduled and emergent CT imaging as ordered by physicians
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining steps and ensuring comfort and safety
  • Correctly position patients and calibrate imaging equipment for optimal image quality
  • Operate CT scanners and ensure accurate collection and processing of imaging data
  • Review images for quality assurance before transmission to radiologists
  • Maintain patient records and adhere to all departmental and regulatory protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate comprehensive patient care
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, reporting maintenance needs promptly
