Step into a dynamic imaging environment as a CT Technologist, playing a pivotal role in high-quality patient care. This contract position welcomes skilled professionals with a passion for accurate diagnostics, utilizing cutting-edge technology in a busy imaging department.
Schedule/Hours:
- Shifts vary; department operates imaging services including Cardiac CTs every day.
- Department performs, on average, 160 studies per weekday and 120 studies on weekends.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a CT Technologist.
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Comfortable starting peripheral IVs and performing venous/arterial phase as well as multi-phase scanning.
- Experience with stroke imaging (including perfusion), colorectal studies, and CT-guided procedures.
- TeraRecon knowledge is preferred but not required.
- Open to first-time travelers.
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of CT studies for ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient units, addressing diverse clinical indications.
- Perform and support CT-guided invasive procedures and collaborate in cases requiring anesthesia.
- Operate three advanced Siemens CT scanners using industry-standard injectors and manage associated PACS/RIS documentation.
- Participate in cardiac CT imaging on day shifts.
- Adhere to departmental protocols and ensure high-quality imaging standards.
- Assist with patient transport needs in collaboration with dedicated Guest Services/Transport staff.
