CT Tech CT Technologist | Matthews, North Carolina

Deliver advanced patient care in a fast-paced imaging department as a CT Technologist. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a teaching hospital designated as a Trauma Level IV facility, recognized for its Chest Pain and Stroke Centers. The department supports a team-based culture focused on accountability and patient-centered care.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours each week
• 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
• Holiday coverage required (75% of holidays)
• No call or floating requirements

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in CT imaging
• Accepts first-time travelers eager to build experience
• BLS certification and ARRT(R) with (CT) credential required
• Photo ID required during compliance process
• Knowledge and prior use of Siemens and GE equipment preferred
• Able to work with a wide variety of patients in ED, inpatient, and outpatient settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging procedures across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate with registered nurses and transport staff to efficiently manage daily workflow
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EPIC EMR system
• Adhere to established protocols for safety and quality assurance
• Demonstrate flexibility for a high-volume environment, providing exceptional care for diverse patient populations
• Comply with departmental policies regarding attire (black scrubs) and workflow
