Deliver advanced patient care in a fast-paced imaging department as a CT Technologist. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a teaching hospital designated as a Trauma Level IV facility, recognized for its Chest Pain and Stroke Centers. The department supports a team-based culture focused on accountability and patient-centered care.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours each week
- 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
- Holiday coverage required (75% of holidays)
- No call or floating requirements
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in CT imaging
- Accepts first-time travelers eager to build experience
- BLS certification and ARRT(R) with (CT) credential required
- Photo ID required during compliance process
- Knowledge and prior use of Siemens and GE equipment preferred
- Able to work with a wide variety of patients in ED, inpatient, and outpatient settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform CT imaging procedures across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
- Collaborate with registered nurses and transport staff to efficiently manage daily workflow
- Maintain accurate documentation within the EPIC EMR system
- Adhere to established protocols for safety and quality assurance
- Demonstrate flexibility for a high-volume environment, providing exceptional care for diverse patient populations
- Comply with departmental policies regarding attire (black scrubs) and workflow
