Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current ARRT (CT) certification or eligibility required
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Active state license as required for radiologic technologists
  • Minimum of one year’s experience performing CT imaging preferred
  • Strong technical proficiency operating CT equipment and associated PACS systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Capable of communicating effectively with patients, families, and medical staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for CT imaging studies, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Operate CT scanners to obtain high-quality diagnostic images per physician orders
  • Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and infection control procedures
  • Document imaging procedures and patient data accurately in electronic health records
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring providers to achieve optimal imaging outcomes
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions during and after procedures, reporting any concerns appropriately
  • Maintain cleanliness, stocking, and readiness of imaging suites and equipment
