Qualifications and Experience:
- Current ARRT (CT) certification or eligibility required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Active state license as required for radiologic technologists
- Minimum of one year’s experience performing CT imaging preferred
- Strong technical proficiency operating CT equipment and associated PACS systems
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Capable of communicating effectively with patients, families, and medical staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for CT imaging studies, ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate CT scanners to obtain high-quality diagnostic images per physician orders
- Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and infection control procedures
- Document imaging procedures and patient data accurately in electronic health records
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring providers to achieve optimal imaging outcomes
- Monitor and assess patient conditions during and after procedures, reporting any concerns appropriately
- Maintain cleanliness, stocking, and readiness of imaging suites and equipment
