CT Technologist in Maywood, IL

Schedule:

• 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm
• Includes every third weekend

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (CT) certification required
• Proven competence in CT imaging within a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Familiarity with cross-sectional anatomy, imaging protocols, and radiation safety
• Effective communication skills with patients and multidisciplinary teams
• Detail-oriented and able to follow strict procedural guidelines
• Ability to adapt to new equipment and evolving technology

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring accuracy and patient safety
• Properly position patients and provide detailed explanations of procedures
• Monitor image quality and make necessary adjustments
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of procedures and patient interactions
• Adhere to safety standards for patients and staff, maintaining infection control practices
• Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to achieve optimal diagnostic outcomes
• Support equipment care and troubleshooting in collaboration with biomedical staff
