Advance your career in medical imaging as a skilled CT/PET Technologist, where your expertise supports precise diagnostic care and exceptional patient experiences. In this role, you will work alongside a collaborative healthcare team using advanced imaging modalities to deliver high-quality scans for patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT and PET scanners to produce diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions or need for repairs
- Accurately document procedures, patient information, and findings in electronic medical records
- Follow all safety guidelines related to radiation and infection control
- Provide patient education regarding exam processes and address questions or concerns compassionately
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive diagnostic support
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification or registry in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine (ARRT or NMTCB)
- Valid state licensure (as required)
- Experience in both CT and PET imaging required
- Strong knowledge of imaging protocols and radiation safety standards
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to care for patients of diverse backgrounds
