CT Tech CT Technologist in Meriden, CT

Deliver advanced patient care and imaging accuracy in a fast-paced hospital setting as a skilled CT Technologist. This contract position calls for a motivated professional ready to support diagnostic excellence using state-of-the-art CT technology.

Schedule:

• Week one: Monday through Friday, 12:00pm–8:30pm
• Week two: Monday through Wednesday, Friday 12:00pm–8:30pm and weekend shifts 3:00pm–11:30pm
• Every other weekend participation is required.
• On-call support is preferred to ensure comprehensive department coverage.

Qualifications:

• ARRT-CT certification required.
• Proven experience as a CT Technologist in a clinical environment.
• Strong technical proficiency with CT imaging equipment and an understanding of safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Adaptability for rotating weekend and on-call hours.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging procedures, ensuring the highest quality diagnostic images.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure timely and accurate exam completion.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging findings.
• Monitor equipment performance, reporting any issues to appropriate personnel.
• Follow protocols for infection control and patient confidentiality.
