CT Tech CT Technologist | Meriden, Connecticut

Schedule:

• Week one: Monday–Friday, 12:00pm–8:30pm
• Week two: Monday–Wednesday, Friday, 12:00pm–8:30pm, Saturday-Sunday, 3:00pm–11:30pm
• Every other weekend required
• On-call assistance preferred

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (CT) certification is mandatory
• Demonstrated experience as a CT technologist, utilizing advanced imaging techniques
• Strong knowledge of radiology protocols, patient safety, and radiation protection
• Ability to perform independently and adapt to changing clinical needs in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication skills and compassionate patient care are fundamental

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment while adhering to all protocols and quality assurance standards
• Prepare and position patients for CT procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Accurately interpret physician orders and follow prescribed CT imaging protocols
• Practice radiation safety measures for patients, self, and coworkers
• Maintain clear, detailed documentation of scans and patient interactions within record systems
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and fellow staff to deliver timely, accurate imaging services
• Take part in on-call rotations and adapt to scheduling needs, as business requires

$2,638 - $2,790/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
