CT Tech CT Technologist | Meriden, Connecticut

Deliver high-quality patient care as a skilled CT Technologist in a contract role in a hospital setting. This position offers the opportunity to utilize advanced imaging skills and work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team focused on patient-centered service and safety.

Schedule/Hours:

• 11:00pm – 7:30am
• Every other weekend required

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (CT) certification required
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Proficiency in CT imaging procedures and protocols
• Prior experience as a CT Technologist strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide compassionate, professional care
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle urgent cases

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT equipment to produce quality diagnostic images according to physician orders and departmental protocol
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for each scan, ensuring safety and comfort
• Review and evaluate images for clarity, proper positioning, and diagnostic value
• Maintain accurate patient records and perform required documentation within the electronic medical record
• Apply principles of radiation protection and adhere to safety standards at all times
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate imaging delivery
• Manage equipment maintenance and promptly report any technical issues

$2,541 - $2,688/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
