CT Tech CT Technologist - Mesquite, New Mexico

Schedule:

• 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT equipment to produce accurate, diagnostic images, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
• Prepare and position patients for CT scans, following all established protocols and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical personnel to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of studies.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment according to department guidelines.
• Accurately document procedures and patient data in electronic medical records.
• Practice effective communication with patients to explain procedures and address concerns compassionately.
• Observe and adhere to all regulatory guidelines and facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT CT or equivalent).
• Proven proficiency in performing a variety of CT exams.
• Prior hospital or clinic experience in CT imaging preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering safe, patient-focused care.
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
