Computed Tomography Tech | Miami Beach, Florida

A skilled CT/PET Technologist is sought for a contract opportunity specializing in advanced imaging within a dynamic healthcare setting. This position focuses on providing quality diagnostic services using Siemens Sensation 64-slice CT technology. The assignment begins as soon as possible and is structured as a 13-week initial contract.

Schedule:

• 5 x 8-hour shifts per week
• Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency in CT and PET imaging techniques
• Valid and current certifications: BLS, ACLS
• ARRT(CT) credential required
• Experience utilizing Siemens Sensation 64-slice CT equipment is highly desirable
• Solid understanding of imaging safety protocols and patient positioning
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct CT and PET scans according to physician orders, ensuring optimal image quality
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including Siemens Sensation 64-slice CT scanners
• Accurately record and process images while adhering to privacy and data security guidelines
• Assist with patient preparation and provide clear instructions regarding procedures
• Monitor patient well-being before, during, and after exams
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to quality assurance initiatives
