Make an impact as a skilled Imaging Professional specializing in CT and CT/PET technology. This contract position offers a rewarding weekend schedule with 12-hour shifts, Friday through Sunday, providing expanded opportunities for work-life balance. As part of a dynamic radiology team within a large, state-of-the-art healthcare setting, you’ll serve a diverse patient population, including adult inpatients and outpatients, along with occasional pediatric patients in the Emergency Department.

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT certification, with ARRT-CT required for CT assignments
  • BLS certification required
  • State license strongly preferred
  • Proven expertise in CT biopsies, drainages, trauma protocols, angiograms, and stroke perfusion (strongly preferred)
  • Experience with GE CT equipment and Cerner EMR
  • At least 1 year of strong, relevant experience for travelers; first-time travelers are welcome with a minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • Willingness to float throughout the radiology department as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced CT and PET imaging procedures for a variety of adult and occasional pediatric patients
  • Collaborate efficiently within a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center environment
  • Adapt to fast-paced settings, managing an average volume of 4 patients per hour
  • Participate in 1:1 patient care, ensuring high-quality imaging and safety standards
  • Support the main radiology department, floating to different areas per departmental needs
  • Attend and complete comprehensive orientation
