Contribute your expertise as a CT/PET Technologist in a dynamic hospital environment with 3 twelve-hour shifts Friday through Sunday. This contract position supports both inpatient and outpatient imaging, working with adult and occasional pediatric populations in a high-acuity setting that includes trauma and stroke care.
Schedule:
- 3 x 12-hour shifts: Friday through Sunday
Qualifications:
- ARRT certification required; ARRT-CT credential required for CT Tech
- Active BLS certification
- State license preferred
- Experience with CT-guided biopsy drainage, trauma, angiograms required
- Strongly preferred: stroke perfusion experience
- Proficient using GE CT equipment and Cerner EMR
- Minimum one year of strong CT/PET Tech experience accepted; first-time travelers welcome if possessing at least two years of relevant experience
- Ability to float throughout the main Radiology department as needed
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and PET imaging procedures for a diverse patient population (adults, and occasionally pediatrics)
- Collaborate with providers to support rapid diagnosis and effective treatment in a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center
- Maintain accurate records and ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment, with an average of 4 patients per hour (up to 40 patients per day)
- Participate in voluntary on-call shifts and work a weekend rotation as required
- Fulfill holiday shift requirements according to department policy
