CT Tech in Millbrook, AL

Contribute your expertise as a CT/PET Technologist in a dynamic hospital environment with 3 twelve-hour shifts Friday through Sunday. This contract position supports both inpatient and outpatient imaging, working with adult and occasional pediatric populations in a high-acuity setting that includes trauma and stroke care.

Schedule:

• 3 x 12-hour shifts: Friday through Sunday

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification required; ARRT-CT credential required for CT Tech
• Active BLS certification
• State license preferred
• Experience with CT-guided biopsy drainage, trauma, angiograms required
• Strongly preferred: stroke perfusion experience
• Proficient using GE CT equipment and Cerner EMR
• Minimum one year of strong CT/PET Tech experience accepted; first-time travelers welcome if possessing at least two years of relevant experience
• Ability to float throughout the main Radiology department as needed

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and PET imaging procedures for a diverse patient population (adults, and occasionally pediatrics)
• Collaborate with providers to support rapid diagnosis and effective treatment in a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center
• Maintain accurate records and ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment, with an average of 4 patients per hour (up to 40 patients per day)
• Participate in voluntary on-call shifts and work a weekend rotation as required
• Fulfill holiday shift requirements according to department policy
