Join a healthcare facility known for comprehensive patient care and advanced imaging services as a CT/PET Technologist. This contract position offers a focused schedule with three 12-hour shifts from Friday through Sunday in Millbrook, AL. This is an opportunity to work within a dynamic radiology department, servicing both inpatient and outpatient populations, including adults and occasional pediatric cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced CT imaging procedures including biopsies, drainage, trauma assessments, angiograms, and stroke perfusion studies.
- Utilize GE CT technology in various areas throughout the hospital.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner EMR system.
- Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care.
- Participate in a structured orientation program to familiarize with hospital protocols and procedures.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current ARRT certification with CT specialization.
- State license preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of strong CT experience, including trauma and angiogram procedures.
- Experience with stroke perfusion imaging is highly preferred.
- Ability to work with both adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule and Work Environment:
- Shifts: Three 12-hour shifts, Friday to Sunday.
- Rate: Pay Rate: $95 per hour with a 5% differential; no night shifts or on-call obligations.
- Floating assignments across radiology departments.
- Orientation includes an 8-hour hospital overview plus 2-3 days shadowing day shifts.
