Step into a vital imaging role where your CT expertise will support comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care at a large facility with advanced technology and specialized departments. This contract position begins 6/22 and offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment alongside skilled colleagues.
Schedule/Hours
- 12-hour mid shifts, totaling 36 hours/week
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 10:00 am – 10:30 pm
Qualifications & Experience
- ARRT and BLS certifications required
- CT Techs must hold ARRT-CT (state license preferred)
- Minimum of one year recent, relevant CT experience; two years’ experience strongly preferred for first-time travelers
- Proficient with trauma, angiograms, and biopsy drainage procedures; stroke perfusion experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable with both adult and occasional pediatric patients in a Level II Trauma and Primary Stroke Center setting
- Familiar with GE CT equipment and Cerner EMR preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment and assist with procedures (biopsy drainage, trauma, angiogram, and stroke perfusion)
- Manage an average of four patients per hour in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Collaborate with a team of two CT techs and an assistant per shift
- Float as needed within the radiology department, adapting to different care areas
- Maintain patient safety and high imaging standards in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Attend one eight-hour hospital orientation, followed by 2–3 shifts paired with another tech
