Step into a dynamic imaging department providing advanced care as a CT technologist in a large, high-acuity setting. This contract role is ideal for skilled technologists with robust CT experience, ready to deliver quality imaging for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients—including adults and occasional pediatric outpatients. The contract begins June 22 and requires a focus on patient care, procedural skill, and collaborative teamwork.

Schedule:

  • 12-hour mid shifts, 36 hours per week
  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM

Qualifications:

  • Active ARRT (CT) credential required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • State license preferred
  • At least 1 year of relevant CT experience for strong candidates
  • First-time travelers welcome with a minimum of 2 years’ strong CT experience
  • Proficiency with biopsy drainage, trauma, angiogram, and stroke perfusion (strongly preferred)
  • Experience using Cerner EMR and GE CT equipment

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of CT procedures for adult and occasional pediatric populations in a Level II Trauma Center
  • Collaborate with a team of technologists and support staff, serving approximately 4 patients per hour
  • Float flexibly within the main radiology department as needed
  • Support clinical teams by providing critical diagnostic images for both routine and emergency presentations
  • Maintain high-quality patient care and procedural standards
  • Complete department and hospital orientation before independent shifts
