Advance your imaging career in a dynamic healthcare setting as a CT Technologist, providing essential diagnostic services in a fast-paced hospital environment. This contract position begins on June 22 and involves working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour mid shifts: 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- 36 hours per week
Key Qualifications:
- Current ARRT (R) certification required
- ARRT (CT) credential mandatory
- BLS certification required for all staff
- State CT license preferred
- Minimum 1 year of recent CT experience (exceptionally strong candidates will be considered)
- First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years’ relevant experience
- Proficiency in biopsy drainage, trauma, angiograms (required), and stroke perfusion studies (strongly preferred)
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of inpatient and outpatient CT procedures, serving adults and occasional pediatric patients
- Deliver care in a Level II Trauma, Primary Stroke Center, and Level III NICU environment
- Work efficiently with average patient volumes of 4 exams per hour, ensuring quality and speed
- Rotate throughout the main Radiology department as needed
- Operate GE CT equipment and document care using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with another CT technologist and an assistant during each shift
- May be required to work one major and one minor holiday per hospital policy
