Qualifications and Experience:

  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology, with advanced certification in CT required
  • Minimum of 1 year experience performing CT and PET/CT imaging preferred
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong understanding of digital imaging, cross-sectional anatomy, and radiation safety protocols
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and patient service skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT and PET/CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images according to physician protocols
  • Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Maintain accurate records and imaging documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Monitor imaging equipment to ensure optimal functioning and arrange for routine maintenance as needed
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare staff to ensure timely and effective patient care
  • Adhere to infection control, safety, and patient privacy guidelines throughout all procedures

$2,138 - $2,326/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
