Qualifications:

• Current certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT or equivalent)
• Registered in Computed Tomography (CT) or eligible to obtain
• Active state license as required
• Minimum of one year of recent CT imaging experience
• Proficiency with CT scanning equipment and digital imaging platforms
• Strong attention to detail, safety standards, and patient care protocols
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT scans following physician orders and department protocols
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and clear communication
• Accurately position patients and operate scanner to achieve optimal images
• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality, making adjustments as necessary
• Document all patient interactions, procedures, and results accurately in the health record system
• Safeguard patients and team by following radiation safety and infection control guidelines
• Coordinate with radiologists, providers, and other departments as required for timely, efficient patient care
• Participate in quality assurance and equipment maintenance routines
