Qualifications and Experience Needed:
- Proven experience as a CT or CT/PET Technologist in a clinical or hospital setting
- Comprehensive skills in conducting imaging procedures, including CT and PET scans
- Ability to perform general radiology exams, x-rays, fluoroscopy, and portable and operating room imaging
- Strong knowledge of operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment
- Commitment to patient safety, accurate diagnostics, and quality care
- ARRT certification in Radiography and CT, with current or eligible state licensure as required
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Responsibilities Include:
- Operate advanced CT, PET, and radiology equipment to obtain clear, accurate diagnostic images
- Conduct a range of imaging procedures as ordered, including routine, portable, fluoroscopic, and specialized scans
- Ensure patient comfort, education, and safety throughout imaging processes
- Adhere to department protocols for image quality and patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and care teams to optimize diagnostic outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and ensure proper documentation in patient files
