Advance your career in diagnostic imaging by joining a high-performing Radiology department as a CT/PET Technologist. This position provides the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art imaging technology in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will play a critical role in patient diagnosis and care by performing a variety of radiologic procedures, including general radiology exams, x-rays, fluoroscopy, portable studies, and operating room imaging.
Schedule/Hours:
- Day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts available
- Flexible 4-, 8-, or 12-hour shift options
- 7on-7off scheduling pattern
Qualifications & Experience:
- ARRT certification in Radiography required; advanced certification in CT preferred
- Experience with CT and PET imaging modalities
- Proven ability to perform general radiology procedures including x-ray, fluoro, portable, and OR imaging
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and quality assurance standards
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to adapt to varying workloads and shift demands
- Team-oriented with a commitment to excellence in imaging services
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality CT and PET scans according to department protocols
- Perform a range of general radiographic procedures, including fluoroscopy and operating room imaging
- Accurately position patients and ensure their safety and comfort
- Maintain precise, up-to-date patient records and imaging documentation
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other clinical staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Uphold regulatory and safety standards at all times
- Participate in continuing education and departmental improvement initiatives
