Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
  • Current state licensure (if applicable)
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in CT imaging
  • Proficient in operating CT scanners and related imaging equipment
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols, patient positioning, and contrast administration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for CT scans while ensuring comfort and safety
  • Operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and submit for physician interpretation
  • Accurately enter patient data and maintain imaging records in the system
  • Practice radiation safety and infection control procedures at all times
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare staff to promote optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide clear, compassionate instructions to patients throughout procedures
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment or scheduling as needed
