Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (CT) certification
• Active state radiologic technologist license, if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a CT Tech role
• Proficiency with imaging equipment and protocols for computed tomography
• Excellent patient communication and care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other technologists
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to patient safety standards

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans for diagnostic purposes according to physician orders
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and proper technique
• Operate CT imaging equipment with a focus on optimal image quality
• Review images for clarity and accuracy, repeating scans when necessary
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists to relay findings and ensure timely results
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following infection control protocols
• Troubleshoot equipment and report malfunctions promptly
