Advance your imaging career with a dynamic contract opportunity specializing in CT and PET/CT technology. This role is essential for delivering high-quality diagnostic services in a busy, full-service medical facility renowned for advanced trauma and stroke care. You’ll collaborate with a supportive radiology team, serving both adult and occasional pediatric patients in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour shifts: Friday – Sunday

Qualifications & Experience:

  • BLS certification required
  • ARRT certification required (ARRT-CT required for CT Tech)
  • State license preferred
  • Experience with CT biopsy drainage, trauma, angiogram is required; stroke perfusion experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with GE CT equipment and Cerner EMR
  • Accepting applicants with strong experience and at least one year in the field; first-time travelers considered with a minimum of two years’ relevant experience

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic CT and PET/CT imaging procedures efficiently and accurately
  • Manage patient load with patient ratios typically 1:1, averaging 4 patients per hour
  • Float as needed within the main Radiology department to cover various areas
  • Work with both adult and occasional pediatric cases, primarily outpatient and ED patients
  • Collaborate within a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center environment
  • Participation in voluntary on-call schedule and rotating weekend coverage as needed
  • Adhere to hospital orientation (8-hour orientation and 2–3 training shifts with another tech)
  • Follow holiday scheduling policies, with reasonable flexibility and requirements
