Bring your expertise in diagnostic imaging to a large hospital setting as a key contributor in a dynamic Radiology department. This contract opportunity offers a unique schedule working 3x12-hour shifts—Friday through Sunday—allowing you greater flexibility during the week.

Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts, Friday through Sunday (3 shifts per week)

Qualifications:

  • Active ARRT certification; ARRT-CT required for CT Techs
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • State CT license preferred
  • Skilled in CT biopsies, drainage procedures, trauma scans, angiograms (required)
  • Strongly preferred: experience with stroke perfusion CT
  • Experience working with GE CT equipment and Cerner EMR
  • At least 1 year of imaging experience with CT/PET; first-time travelers considered with minimum 2 years’ relevant experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT imaging for a diverse range of cases including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, adult, and occasional pediatric patients
  • Manage an average of 4 patients per hour, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio
  • Float within different areas of the Radiology department as needed
  • Participate in hospital orientation and unit-specific onboarding alongside experienced technologists
  • Assist with advanced procedures such as trauma and angiogram examinations
  • Operate within a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center, contributing to efficient and effective patient care

Additional Details:

  • Voluntary on-call opportunities
  • Team-driven environment in a facility supporting over 490 beds, with Level III NICU capabilities
  • Expectation to work one major and one minor holiday as per facility policy
