Take your imaging expertise to the next level in a dynamic healthcare environment using state-of-the-art CT technology. This contract opportunity begins June 22 and offers a broad scope of responsibilities working in a 492-bed, Level II Trauma Center that serves diverse inpatient and outpatient populations, including adults and occasional pediatric cases.
Schedule:
- 12-hour mid-shifts
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 p.m.
- 36 hours per week
Key Qualifications:
- ARRT(R) certification and ARRT(CT) required
- Current BLS required
- State CT license preferred
- Minimum 1 year of relevant CT tech experience (first-time travelers welcome with at least 2 years’ applicable CT experience)
- Proven skills in biopsy drainage, trauma, angiography (required), and strong stroke perfusion competency (strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR and GE CT equipment
- Ability to float within all areas of the radiology department as needed
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures for both inpatient and outpatient clients, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with another CT technologist and an assistant per shift to manage workflow efficiently
- Respond quickly to emergency/trauma scans, including specialized studies such as angiograms and biopsies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within Cerner system
- Float throughout the main Radiology department to support areas of high need
- Support holiday and weekend scheduling in alignment with department policies
