Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT CT preferred)
  • Valid state licensure as required for CT Technologists
  • Demonstrated proficiency operating CT scanners and related equipment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physical imaging principles
  • Previous experience in a hospital or clinical imaging department strongly preferred
  • Current BLS certification
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT imaging equipment to produce clear, diagnostic images as ordered by a physician
  • Prepare and position patients for CT scans with both safety and comfort in mind
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and assist radiologists with image interpretation as needed
  • Accurately document patient information, complete scan records, and maintain imaging logs
  • Monitor equipment for safe operation and report any technical issues promptly
  • Comply with all HIPAA, safety, and infection control protocols
  • Provide caring and informative communication to patients and their families regarding procedure steps and expectations

$2,451 - $2,584/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
