Qualifications & Experience:
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Registered with ARRT (CT) or eligible
- Proven experience operating CT scanners and associated imaging equipment
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, positioning, and CT protocols
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and PACS systems
- Ability to work well both independently and in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans following physician orders and department protocols
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, and address questions or concerns
- Ensure patient safety by practicing safe radiation protection techniques
- Accurately maintain patient documentation, imaging records, and departmental logs
- Collaborate with radiologists to ensure optimal imaging and timely interpretation
- Calibrate and maintain CT equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly
- Adhere to all infection control and safety guidelines
- Assist with department workflow and support colleagues when required
