Advance your career as a skilled imaging professional in a dynamic hospital environment specializing in CT and PET/CT. This contract opportunity offers a 12-hour day shift schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, providing consistent hours and a clear routine. Enjoy the reassurance of no on-call, call back, or floating requirements, and be prepared to cover all holidays that coincide with your assigned shifts.

Key Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years’ CT experience required
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (R)(CT) certification
  • BLS certification
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of GE CT systems (GE Revolution Apex)
  • Proficiency in a fast-paced setting, handling routine and STAT CT exams for inpatients, outpatients, emergency, and observation patients
  • Comfort with post-processing exams and prioritizing studies by acuity, including Code Strokes

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with Epic EMR, Epic Radiant RIS, and Philips iSite PACS
  • Experience using Bayer MedRad dual-head contrast injectors
  • Will consider first-time travelers eager for a supportive onboarding process

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform and document high-quality CT and PET/CT images independently
  • Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure accurate, efficient patient care
  • Follow protocols for patient safety and privacy
  • Participate in initial facility onboarding, followed by thorough department-specific training to ensure success
