Key Qualifications:
- Current certification and registration as a CT Technologist (ARRT, NMTCB, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 1 year of CT and/or CT/PET experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency with advanced imaging protocols, including contrast administration
- Up-to-date BLS certification
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong attention to patient safety and comfort
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and CT/PET scans as ordered by referring physicians
- Prepare and position patients, explain imaging procedures, and address patient concerns
- Monitor equipment function, troubleshoot as needed, and maintain quality control standards
- Accurately document procedures, observations, and patient records in the electronic health record
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations
- Support radiologists with image review and provide prompt preliminary findings when appropriate
