Step into a pivotal imaging role and deliver advanced patient care utilizing your expertise as a CT Technologist. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks, offering the chance to work with state-of-the-art imaging equipment and directly impact patient outcomes in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Schedule:
- 4x10 hour shifts, Days: 7:00am – 5:30pm
- Call shifts: 5:30pm – 10:30pm, 2 evenings per week following your scheduled shift
Required Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification
- Active California Radiologic Technologist License
- BLS certification
- Fluoroscopy and IV certification
- Experience with Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanner
- Proficiency in general x-ray imaging
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT imaging and x-ray studies adhering to physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, demonstrating excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Operate the Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanner, ensuring images meet diagnostic standards
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with all regulatory and safety guidelines
- Participate in call shifts in addition to regular schedule, providing prompt and professional imaging services as needed
- Utilize IV and contrast administration skills to enhance diagnostic outcomes
