Advance your career as a skilled imaging professional in a dynamic healthcare setting. This position focuses on providing high-quality CT imaging services during a 13-week assignment, utilizing advanced technology including the Siemens 64 Somatom scanner. Candidates with strong experience in both CT and x-ray procedures will excel in this fast-paced environment and play a vital role in supporting exceptional patient care.

Schedule:

  • 4x10-hour shifts, Days: 7:00am – 5:30pm
  • Call shifts: 5:30pm – 10:30pm, two nights per week following a scheduled shift

Qualifications:

  • Valid ARRT certification
  • Active California licensure in Radiologic Technology
  • BLS certification
  • Fluoroscopy certification
  • IV certification
  • Demonstrated competency with CT imaging (preferably Siemens 64 Somatom)
  • X-ray experience required

Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced CT and x-ray imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety and diagnostic quality
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper calibration and readiness
  • Prepare and position patients, providing clear instructions and compassionate care throughout each exam
  • Administer IV contrast and ensure documentation meets regulatory standards
  • Obtain and document patient histories, collaborating closely with physicians and colleagues
  • Respond to call shifts, delivering prompt imaging services as needed outside of standard hours
  • Maintain strict adherence to regulatory guidelines and infection control protocols
