CT Tech CT Technologist in Moscow, KS

A skilled CT/X-ray technologist is needed to support diagnostic imaging services at a critical access hospital and its attached clinic. This contract opportunity features a flexible schedule, ideal for candidates seeking a work-life balance with extended weekends. Urgent backfill means qualified applicants can expect a same-day interview and offer process.

Schedule:

• 3x12 hour day shifts (primarily weekends)
• 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• 2–3 nights of call per week; expect 2–4 days of call weekly
• Flexible manager ensures a regular 4-day weekend for staff

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and urgent CT and X-ray imaging for both the hospital and clinic settings, using Carestream equipment for X-ray (including portable) and the GE 660 for CT scans
• Support a busy, 20-bed environment with an active emergency room and adjacent clinic
• Utilize the Cerner charting system and PACS X-ray system for accurate documentation and image management
• Participate in call rotation to ensure continuous imaging service coverage
• Maintain strict compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• ARRT (R) certification (CT registry not required)
• Eligible for or holding a current State of Kansas license; pending application accepted
• Previous experience working in both CT and X-ray modalities preferred
• Comfort with Cerner EMR and PACS systems is a strong asset
• Strong communication and adaptability skills to support a collaborative healthcare environment

Additional Details:

• Clinic hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No internal housing program available; candidates with pets may face housing challenges
