This travel opportunity positions you at the heart of advanced imaging—specifically CT and PET/CT—where you'll coordinate and perform all aspects of computerized tomography. Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel position with flexible scheduling

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, monitor, and operate complex CT/PET equipment for diagnostic purposes
  • Transfer and position patients safely, applying immobilization devices as necessary
  • Obtain and document patient information, including allergies and medical history
  • Administer intravenous contrast media as required
  • Capture, develop, and digitally archive diagnostic images, ensuring top quality standards
  • Calibrate and maintain imaging equipment and department inventory
  • Instruct and mentor new personnel within the department
  • Support radiologists and physicians during specialized procedures
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements for safety and registry maintenance
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives
  • Respond effectively to allergic reactions or medical emergencies, providing basic CPR when needed

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in CT and PET/CT imaging techniques
  • Registered with appropriate regulatory agency and in good standing
  • Experience handling computerized imaging systems and patient scheduling
  • Knowledge of safety standards and emergency response in a medical setting
