Qualifications and Experience:
- ARRT (CT) certification is required
- Demonstrated experience as a CT and/or CT/PET Technologist
- Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and standard imaging protocols
- Competency with CT and PET/CT equipment and associated software
- Ability to adapt to new technology and dynamic patient needs
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Responsibilities:
- Operate CT and CT/PET scanners to perform diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with physicians’ orders and departmental protocols
- Prepare and position patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout procedures
- Monitor imaging results for quality and use critical thinking to identify potential technical or patient care concerns
- Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation within the system
- Follow all infection control and safety policies, and ensure proper use of PPE and preventive measures
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and co-workers to facilitate seamless patient care
