CT Technologist - Napakiak, AK

Seeking a skilled CT Imaging professional who thrives in a hospital setting caring for a diverse patient population from newborns through geriatric individuals. This contract opportunity calls for excellence in radiographic examinations and supports smooth departmental operations, including occasional receptionist responsibilities. Flexibility is essential as shift schedules will alternate weekly—expect 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program or equivalent required
• At least two years of post-graduate hospital radiologic experience
• Solid understanding of CT angiograms
• ARRT certification; CT registered or board-eligible
• Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Computer proficiency preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination completed (documentation required)
• Must obtain and provide documentation for required immunizations before start date

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and radiographic exams for patients of all ages
• Ensure accurate imaging and proper patient positioning
• Collaborate with clinical teams for quality patient care
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
• Serve as receptionist as needed to facilitate departmental workflow
• Adhere to established protocols, safety, and privacy regulations

Important Details:

• Housing is provided, but in shared units (private housing not available; no pets allowed)
• Initial airfare to the assignment location is reimbursed upon arrival
• Onboarding requires full credentialing and the submission of travel information at least one week in advance
• New employee orientation classes are held Tuesdays and Wednesdays only
