Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT CT) and/or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or ARRT N).
  • Experience with CT and PET/CT imaging equipment and protocols.
  • Proficiency with digital imaging and PACS systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT scans according to physician orders and established safety standards.
  • Ensure patient comfort, explain procedures, and prepare patients appropriately for imaging.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshooting minor technical issues as needed.
  • Accurately document clinical findings and maintain imaging records.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and medical professionals to ensure optimal imaging results.
  • Follow departmental protocols for infection control, radiation safety, and patient privacy.
