CT Tech CT Technologist in New Britain, CT

Schedule/Hours:

• Week 1: Monday–Friday, 12:00pm–8:30pm
• Week 2: Monday–Wednesday and Friday, 12:00pm–8:30pm; weekend, 3:00pm–11:30pm
• Every other weekend required
• On-call assistance preferred

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT certification with CT credential (ARRT-CT)
• Previous experience as a CT Technologist preferred
• Proficient in performing all aspects of routine and emergent CT imaging
• Strong ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and team members
• Flexible, dependable, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT procedures according to physician orders and imaging protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
• Accurately document patient information, scan details, and promptly relay findings to physicians where required
• Maintain cleanliness and efficient operation of imaging equipment
• Adapt to the needs of the department, including working every other weekend and providing on-call coverage as needed
